Trump pays visit to Beijing after urging N Korea blockade

US PRESIDENT Donald Trump landed in China yesterday — hours after he demanded Beijing blockade North Korea.

Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed Mr Trump to Beijing for talks expected to focus on the nuclear stand-off with North Korea and on trade between the two superpowers.

Before flying to the Chinese capital, Mr Trump issued fresh threats to Pyongyang in an address to the South Korean National Assembly.
