THE days of Unite “waiting on politicians to solve workers’ problems are over,” general secretary Sharon Graham told the union’s Welsh summit in Cardiff today.
About 150 Unite activists from Tata Steel, Airbus, Balfour Beatty, HSBC, Royal Mail and elsewhere gathered in the Welsh capital to plan campaigning priorities for the year ahead.
Ms Graham stressed her union was “100 per cent behind workers across Wales in their battle for fair pay.
