Anez arrested on terrorism charges in Bolivia

FORMER Bolivian acting president Jeanine Anez was arrested on Saturday on charges of terrorism and sedition.

She has been charged for her role in support of November 2019’s Washington-backed coup and subsequent bloodbath.

Images of her arriving at El Alto airport in La Paz circulated soon after her detention. A number of other former government ministers were also arrested.
