Bolivian coup administration seeks to block Movement Towards Socialism from elections
The Bolivian Workers Central union (COB) protest against the government in La Paz last week

OUSTED former Bolivian president Evo Morales has warned against an attempt to block Movement Towards Socialism (Mas) candidate Luis Arce from standing in the presidential election.

A lawsuit was filed with the supreme electoral court today citing election irregularities after Mr Arce was alleged to have released an opinion poll on the presidential race outside the time frame allowed.

The US-backed coup administration of Jeanine Anez came to power in November after Mr Morales was forced out following accusations of election violations that have subsequently been proved to be false.
