Building collapse in Aleppo kills 16
A FIVE-STOREY building collapsed in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo on Sunday, killing at least 16 people and injuring two more.
Syrian state media said that the collapse took place in the poverty-stricken and predominantly Kurdish Sheikh Maqsoud neighbourhood of the city.
According to reports, the building collapsed after water leakages weakened the foundations.
