Israel launches missile strike on Syrian capital Damascus
ISRAEL fired a barrage of missiles at targets south of the Syrian capital Damascus this morning, in the second such attack this week.
One civilian was injured and some material damage was caused, according to military sources.
Most of the missiles, launched by Israeli jets from the occupied Golan Heights, were downed by Syrian air defences before they could reach their targets.
