TURKEY arrested at least 20 more people accused of supporting the banned Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) today, including three senior officials of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP).

The chair of Turkey’s Human Rights Association Ozturk Turkdogan was also detained following a raid on his house. The association said it did not know why.

Turkish media said 10 people were arrested in Istanbul for “acts on behalf of the PKK” while 10 more were seized in Ankara.
