RUSSIA resumed gas flow through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline today after 10 days of scheduled maintenance.
The pipeline’s operator, Gazprom, said it was operating at 40 per cent of capacity as it was still awaiting the documents required to reinstall a turbine that had finally been returned from Canada.
It had been sent there for repairs by the German manufacturer Siemens, but Ottawa initially refused to return it, citing sanctions on Russia.
