US press secretary Jennifer Psaki invited to Donbass after she was accused of genocide denial

WHITE House press secretary Jennifer Psaki was invited to the Donbass region today to join the search for graves of the unknown victims of Ukrainian aggression as she was accused of genocide denial.

Commissioner for human rights in the separatist Donetsk People’s Republic Daria Morozova said Ms Pseki should come to the region so she could see the scale of Kiev’s crimes.

On Wednesday the investigative committee of the Russian Federation said it was opening a criminal case after the discovery of mass graves of those killed during Ukraine’s shelling of the Donbass during the 2014 conflict.

It is believed that Ukrainian armed forces, including the fascist Azov Battalion and forces associated with the ultra-nationalist Right Sector, killed some 14,000 citizens as the conflict erupted.

Ms Pseki claimed later that day that the discovery of the mass graves could have been “disinformation” as hostilities escalate between Washington and Moscow.

“I will not assess the moral qualities of the official speaker of the White House, who allowed herself to call the data voiced by the committee disinformation,” Ms Morozova said.

“But I invite everyone who denies the genocide in Donbass to join the search activities in the republics; to see the mutilated remains of women and children; to look into the eyes of the relatives of citizens who went missing during the conflict,” she added.

About 130 mass graves have been located since the Donbass conflict started in 2014 following the EU-backed Maidan coup, which ousted the democratically elected government of president Viktor Yanukovich.

This amounts to just 40 per cent of the total, according to the commission leading the search for the unknown victims.

“We have been watching for eight years how the international community is trying to ignore the tragedy of Donbass. And all this time, by civilised, legal means, we are seeking an adequate response to what is happening in the region,” Ms Morozova said.

“But we will not allow anyone to speculate on our grief and devalue it. We record every fact that proves that the actions of the Kiev regime in the Donbass were crimes against humanity.”

Russia’s reputedly imminent invasion of Ukraine has yet to occur; Wednesday passing without the attack that predicted by Western intelligence services.

Nato, Britain and the US said Russian claims to have partially withdrawn troops from the border were false.

But their statements are being roundly mocked by Russian officials, including Kremlin spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

“I’d like to request that US and British media outlets — Bloomberg, the New York Times and the Sun — publish the schedule for Russia’s upcoming invasions of Ukraine for the current year. I’d like to plan my vacation,” she said.
