THREE in five workers are unaware of the rights of people on zero-hours contracts, new research suggests.
Conciliation service Acas said its survey of 1,000 adults found that only one in 10 were fully aware of the rights of workers employed on such terms.
According to Acas, a zero-hours contract is usually one in which an employer does not have to give any minimum working hours and a worker does not have to take any work offered.
