NORWAY: A new report commissioned by the Norwegian police into a deadly shooting during Oslo’s annual LGBT Pride festival last year today blasted Norway’s domestic security agency, saying it had intelligence an attack was imminent and could have prevented the bloodshed.

The report focused on how the police and the Norwegian Police Security Service handled the June 25 2022 attack in which two people were killed and 20 wounded. 

SENEGAL: President Macky Sall has ordered an investigation to determine who was responsible for protests by supporters of a political opponent that turned deadly last week but said he was open to consulting with the parties involved.
