Documentary on London's young communists in Apartheid South Africa premieres in Wales

A DOCUMENTARY on the story of London’s young communists travelling to South Africa to fight against apartheid was premiered in Wales over the weekend.

“London Recruits” was screened at the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff following its international release at the Johannesburg Film Festival in September where it was awarded the Best Documentary award.

The film follows the story of young communists and socialists who took part in a series of actions to support black South Africans fighting against apartheid and helped recruit new members for the liberation movement led by the African National Congress.
