MORE strikes have been announced at one of the country’s largest veterinary conglomerates as it faces a watchdog probe over whether consumers are being overcharged for animal care.

Vets, nurses and support staff at Valley Vets in south Wales will walk out from August 23 to 31 after the company, which makes more than £500,000 a year, refused to enter meaningful negotiations with Unite.

The workers already taken 33 days industrial action since July.
