Ban on Scottish Labour parties discussing Gaza invasion must be lifted, reigned officers demand

THE ban on local Scottish Labour parties discussing the invasion of Gaza and Palestine must be lifted, officers who have resigned have demanded.

Labour Party general secretary David Evans issued the ban last month, sparking outrage and resignations across the party.

Now after Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar joined calls for a ceasefire, nine of those officers from Glasgow’s Kelvin Constituency Labour Party (CLP) have called on him to ditch the ban.
