Glasgow museum workers announce five day strike over job and service cuts

GLASGOW museums and collections workers have announced five days of strike action over cuts in jobs and services. 

The Unison members will walkout from next Monday after Glasgow Life said it was looking to cut 38 jobs.

The city council’s arms-length organisation said its museums and collections section will face a 30 per cent cut in posts.
