TRAINS to and from Brighton during Pride weekend are cancelled, it was announced today, sparking outrage from train drivers’ union Aslef.
Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) said it was with a “heavy heart” that it had decided not to run services to the Sussex coast city because of an overtime ban by the union.
Aslef general secretary Mick Whelan said: “It is outrageous and utterly ridiculous to try to blame Aslef for problems which are entirely of this train company’s own making.
