Staff to rally against compulsory redundancies at Brighton University on Saturday

A RALLY is set to take place on Saturday against compulsory redundancies at Brighton University, where academic staff are on permanent strike against cuts.

University authorities on Thursday issued 23 compulsory redundancies to academic staff.

The job losses come on top of 80 staff who volunteered to leave “reluctantly,” according to the University and College Union (UCU).
