SCOTTISH LABOUR’S Katy Clark has demanded an “urgent investigation” after ferry cancellations left 60 people were stranded on the Isle of Arran.
The situation is the latest episode in Scotland’s ferry crisis, as CalMac continues to operate at full capacity and without any reserve vessels to call upon when their ageing fleet breaks down.
About 60 people were left stranded on Arran at the weekend due to capacity and staffing issues on the controversial MV Alfred.
