Black and Asian youngsters more likely to go missing for longer than white children, charity finds
RACIAL disparities seeing black and Asian youngsters more likely go missing for longer than white children must be urgently addressed, a charity has demanded.
The findings by Missing People suggest a lower proportion of missing incidents related to black and Asian people were resolved by the person being found by the police.
A fifth of incidents related to black children were for longer than 48 hours, compared with 14 per cent for Asian and 13 per cent for white, the figures show.
