Khan announces funding for 600 affordable homes for Ukrainian and Afghan refugees
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan

SADIQ KHAN has announced funding for up to 600 affordable homes in London for Ukrainian and Afghan refugees.

The mayor of London said the accommodation would be used to house refugees who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or living in unsuitable temporary accommodation.

The £126 million scheme, announced by Mr Khan today to coincide with the anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, will be used to refurbish and acquire new homes.
