Royal Holloway University strikes intensify after 10% pay cut presented as rise
PAY strikes are set to hit London’s Royal Holloway University from next week, Unite announced today.
The union said non-teaching staff at the Surrey-based institution have rejected a massively below-inflation 3 per cent average wage increase set by the Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA).
The widely condemned offer has also been dismissed by the University and College Union, which is holding a second consecutive day of national walkouts across 150 institutions today.
