STRIKING teaching staff across Scotland warned today of more walkouts to come without a “significantly improved” pay offer.
Education unions repeated their demand for a 10 per cent wage boost – already rejected by SNP ministers – to address years of plummeting take-home salaries.
The call came as teachers and teaching assistants represented by the Scottish Secondary Teachers’ Association (SSTA) and the NASUWT union launched two consecutive days of national strikes.
