BOLIVIA’S government condemned the oppositio toay for walking out of dialogue talks on the next census.

Santa Cruz Governor Luis Camacho, a clerical fascist who helped storm the presidential palace during the 2019 military coup against Evo Morales, has begun what he terms “general strike” in the wealthy region in a bid to destabilise the socialist administration of President Luis Arce.

A decision by La Paz to postpone the census to 2024 is the ostensible cause of the friction, with Santa Cruz insisting it be held next year.
