US Treasury to investigate Florida Governor's use of federal funds to transport Venezuelan migrants

THE US Treasury Department said it intends to investigate Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis’s use of federal funds to transport Venezuelan migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, last month.

A number of the migrants involved have already launched their own legal challenges to Governor DeSantis’s actions.

But the action by the Treasury Department marks the first time that a federal agency or department has announced that the political stunt is being scrutinised.
