TEACHERS at a London college walked out today and will strike for two weeks next month against fire and rehire policies.

Bosses at Richmond upon Thames College want to sack all 127 staff and re-employ them on lower wages and worse conditions, the workers say.

Members of the University & College Union (UCU) responded by voting to strike and walked out as the college in Twickenham held an open day for prospective new students and their parents.
