More than a dozen killed in suspected jihadist bus attack in northern Syria

MORE than a dozen people were killed and several others injured in a suspected jihadist attack on a civilian bus in the north Syrian city of Raqqa today.

At least 11 Syrian soldiers died in the blast along with two civilians according to military sources who said that three others were injured in the attack. 

The explosion occurred close to the border with Turkey at around 6.30am as the bus was travelling on the road to Homs.
