BRAZIL: Environmental and Indigenous organisations in Brazil urged the US to deliver on its promised forest protection funding and deal directly with those who live in and protect the forest.

More than 330 groups and companies signed a letter ahead of a hearing by the US foreign affairs committee to discuss the “Amazon21” Bill that aims to finance forest conservation.
