Care home condemned after ‘inhumane’ eviction of 20 elderly residents

A CARE home was condemned as “inhumane” yesterday after attempting to evict more than 20 elderly residents with just 28 days’ notice.

Staff staged a demonstration at West Midlands care home Holbeche House in Dudley yesterday after its private owner Belsize announced its closure.

The home’s 32 staff have been told to attend meetings to discuss their future.
