WORKERS who produce Fox’s Glacier Mints, Mint Humbugs and Poppets have voted to strike in a dispute over pay and working conditions, GMB announced today.

The general union confirmed it was now discussing potential walk-out dates with its members at confectionery manufacturer Valeo’s York factory after bosses offered a below-inflation wage increase. 

The lowest paid workers are also being excluded from a one-off payment, the union warned, while others are set to lose two holiday days a year.
