Cleaners and porters at Croydon Hospital form strike committee after bosses attempt to ‘silence’ them
OUTSOURCED cleaners and porters at a south London hospital are being “silenced and intimidated” by bosses after forming a strike committee in a dispute over pay justice, GMB said today.
An indicative industrial action ballot, covering G4S workers at Croydon University Hospital, is currently underway and will close on Monday February 21, the health union confirmed.
If the consultative votes pass, the staff, who have accused bosses of stopping their overtime after they raised concerns, could soon be balloted for full strike action.
