PALESTINIAN farm workers are appealing for international solidarity as they launch a new campaign today to restore and rescue land damaged during Israel’s recent 11-day bombing of Gaza.

The Global Campaign to Return to Palestine (GCRP) is supporting the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN) in the Revive Gaza initiative which aims to rehabilitate 1.5 million square metres of land in the besieged territory.

They are hoping to raise nearly $1 million (£720,000) through the campaign which will help 1,950 families and support more than 12,000 people in Gaza who had their land destroyed during the Israeli onslaught.
