KURDISH political prisoners in Turkish jails called today for international support for their struggle to end to the isolation of Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Ocalan as their hunger strike campaign entered its 20th day.
Musa Sertkal and Fehmi Arslan joined the third phase of the rolling action, warning that they will escalate the hunger strike into a death fast if their demands are not met.
The pair are serving aggravated life sentences on terrorism charges relating to their support for the PKK, which is banned in Turkey.
