Neville Lawrence (right) and Sharon Grant outside the Home Office today

NEVILLE LAWRENCE delivered a withering verdict today on Sir John Mitting, the chairman of the spycop inquiry: “He just doesn’t get it.”

Victims of undercover policing were delivering a letter to the Home Office, demanding that their concerns are listened to and that changes are made to the inquiry.

The group included core participants Mr Lawrence, father of murdered schoolboy Stephen, Sharon Grant, the widow of former Tottenham MP Bernie Grant, and three of the women deceived into long-term relationships with undercover officers.
