Spycop who infiltrated the Stephen Lawrence campaign named

A SPYCOP who infiltrated the Stephen Lawrence campaign was named today as David Hagan for the first time on the Undercover Policing Inquiry website.

The police mole infiltrated groups that backed the fight for justice campaign, including the Movement for Justice.

The officer joined the group in the late 1990s at about the time the public inquiry began into Mr Lawrence’s death in south-east London, remaining a member for two or three years before he disappeared.
