THOUSANDS marched through the streets of Dublin on Saturday in the latest demonstration over Ireland’s growing housing and homelessness crisis.
The protest was called by the the National Homeless and Housing Coalition, with organisers estimating that 15,000 people took part in the protest demanding homes for all.
Figures from Ireland’s Housing Department for October showed that there are 9,724 homeless people across the country, although activists claim that this is “only the sharp end of the wedge.”
