HUNDREDS of teachers, parents, school governors and supporters will descend on central Manchester today to protest against huge school funding cuts.
They will vent their fury over Chancellor Philip Hammond’s commitment to maintain funding for new grammar schools — while ignoring the financial plight of the rest.
The lunchtime rally has been organised by the National Union of Teachers (NUT).
