Cross-party group of MPs backs campaign to save catering services on SWR

A CROSS-PARTY group of MPs is backing a campaign to save catering services on South Western Railway (SWR).

SWR has told contractor Elior that it is ending catering on its trains in January, putting 130 jobs at risk.

Rail union RMT is campaigning against the decision, which has the approval of the Department of Transport.
