Nick Cushing to step down as City boss

MANCHESTER CITY manager Nick Cushing swapped one role in the City Football Group for another after he accepted the role of assistant manager at New York City FC.

Cushing will step down at the end of February to join Ronny Deila’s backroom staff.

The 35-year-old won three Continental Cups, two FA Cups and one Women’s Super League title with City since their inception in 2014.
