NASUWT employees vote ‘almost unanimously’ for further strikes
GMB members at the union’s regional offices to walk out next week over imposed changes to their pension scheme

EMPLOYEES of teaching union NASUWT have voted “almost unanimously” to take further strike action over imposed changes to their pension scheme.

GMB members at the union’s regional offices will walk out next Monday and Friday, having already done so on October 17.

They say the changes will require them to clock up 45 years of contributions to gain a full half-salary pension.
