Catterall opens up on Davies clash, winning away and taking a break from the ring
Jack Catterall celebrates beating Tyrone Nurse after their Super Lightweight bout at the First Direct Arena, Leeds.

We caught up with Chorley’s rising star Jack Catterall on Monday after a successful defence of his WBO super-lightweight intercontinental title against Tyrone McKenna last month and discuss rumours of clash with British rival Ohara Davies.

It’s been a busy year for you so far, with three wins already, are you managing to take a break from camp?

Yeah, I’ve rested well, I’m training smart. After the last fight I had a good two weeks where I did absolutely nothing and looked after my body. I’ve not picked up any injuries, so that’s good.
