Crown Copper Knight champion at Musselburgh this afternoon
Copper Knight (right) ridden by David Allan

THERE are a whole bundle of race meetings to look at this afternoon and one of the feature events is the Edinburgh Scottish Sprint Handicap at 2.30 (Musselburgh) where a clear run in the closing stages is easier said than done.

Trainer Tim Easterby is a past master at laying horses out for this kind of race and he has entered two: Orion’s Bow and the four-year-old Copper Knight (nap).

The former is really well-handicapped on his old form and looked set to run a huge race last time out at York after travelling well through the early stages of that contest.
