DAVID WAGNER believes that his squad’s “togetherness” has been the key to success in Huddersfield Town’s first season in the Premier League.
Following a 4-1 victory over Bournemouth in their last league outing, the Terriers recorded back-to-back wins for the first time since their opening two fixtures of the season, beating West Bromwich Albion 2-1 and leaving the Black Country side rooted to the foot of the table.
But unlike the Baggies, who, in the wake of “taxi-gate” where Jonny Evans, Gareth Barry, Jake Livermore and Boaz Myhill were spoken to by police investigating the alleged theft of a taxi in Barcelona, look bereft of ideas and destined for the drop, Huddersfield looked up for the fight to stay in English football’s top tier.
