GREECE: French President Emmanuel Macron arrived for a two-day state visit to Athens amid a police lockdown on the capital and a ban on protests.

Government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos hailed the visit as a sign that Greece had finally turned a page and had emerged from its deep financial crisis.
