JEREMY CORBYN is to have an “extended meeting” with the EU’s chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier in Brussels next week to strengthen “good relationships.”
The talks are likely to be seen as an indication that the Labour leader wants the EU to be in a position to deal with his party if there is a change of government in London during the two-year Brexit negotiation process.
He said he was “very ready” for another general election being called as a result of the government’s instability following the June vote which left Theresa May without a Commons majority.
