Over half of teachers still waiting for 1 per cent rise
MOST teachers have not received this year’s expected 1 per cent pay rise, union Nasuwt warned yesterday.
In a survey of 8,000 teachers, 59 per cent told the union that schools had not offered them the pay award for 2016-17.
In a separate issue on wages, it was revealed that 60 per cent of teachers eligible for incremental pay progression have not yet received it.
