A CAMPAIGN characterised by fear and loathing sank into paranoia yesterday, fearing dirty tricks would stymie its chances of victory.
Officials at Vote Leave were spooked on polling day by a satirical graphic which suggested the referendum had been extended by 24 hours.
The image, which was designed to look vaguely like a BBC breaking news story, said that “due to high turnout” Leave voters were required to cast their ballots separately today.
