LGBT workers reject ‘politics of hatred’
GAY, lesbian, bi and trans trade unionists “rejected” the hatred they said had been provoked by the EU referendum yesterday as they opened the second day of the Trades Union Congress (TUC) LGBT conference.
After finding out that Britain is set to leave the European Union, delegates to this year’s conference moved an emergency motion on the referendum.
The document was passed unopposed as the first act of the day.
