HEALTH unions vowed to take the fight to Nigel Farage yesterday after he cynically dropped the Leave campaign’s commitment to give the NHS an extra £350 million a week under Brexit.
Just an hour after the vote to leave the EU was announced, the Ukip leader said the official campaign had made “a mistake” in promising the funding.
The promise was even painted on a battle bus which carried Boris Johnson and Michael Gove to anti-EU rallies around the country.
