Jobs cull forces RMT to ballot East Coast members

RAIL union RMT will ballot its members on Virgin’s East Coast franchise to halt threats to jobs, working conditions and safety.
The union said the conflict has been brewing for months, accusing the company of trying to “bulldoze through” costcutting measures which would “decimate” jobs.
