Iraq: Baghdad seeks UN help to get rid of Turkish invaders

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmad Jamal said Baghdad had requested an emergency meeting over “Turkish violations on Iraqi soil and interference in its internal affairs.”

He said Iraq wanted the council to “shoulder its responsibility” to end Ankara’s “blatant violation” of Iraqi sovereignty.
